what you will do

  • Work closely with our Senior Product and Engineering Leadership to support, simplify, and improve our existing micro-service architecture

  • Design, test, build, and maintain backend software in Golang and NodeJS

  • Document and improve our infrastructure and architecture

  • Maintain and improve our Kubernetes infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines

  • Provide leadership and guidance to other engineers

what you need to succeed in this role

  • Expertise in Golang and Node.JS (Typescript Preferred)

  • Experience in building scalable and maintainable cloud-native REST-based micro-services

  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases

  • Willingness to work core Central /Eastern US time-zone hours

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Love building simple yet elegant solutions to challenging problems

  • Consider yourself a polyglot and enjoy working across multiple programming languages, leveraging the best language for the job

  • Have a passion for simplifying complexity

  • Want to work across the whole platform: backend, DevOps, and infrastructure
