what you will do
Work closely with our Senior Product and Engineering Leadership to support, simplify, and improve our existing micro-service architecture
Design, test, build, and maintain backend software in Golang and NodeJS
Document and improve our infrastructure and architecture
Maintain and improve our Kubernetes infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
Provide leadership and guidance to other engineers

what you need to succeed in this role
Expertise in Golang and Node.JS (Typescript Preferred)
Experience in building scalable and maintainable cloud-native REST-based micro-services
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
Willingness to work core Central /Eastern US time-zone hours
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Love building simple yet elegant solutions to challenging problems
Consider yourself a polyglot and enjoy working across multiple programming languages, leveraging the best language for the job
Have a passion for simplifying complexity
Want to work across the whole platform: backend, DevOps, and infrastructure
